Off plan/new developments are properties which have not yet been built or are in the process of being built. Normally buyers invest their interest in purchasing such property on the basis of seeing a show property, plot of land, floor plans and the relevant planning permission (“licence de obra”). The price and all specifications are set before building commences which normally takes around 18-24 months and payment is staggered.
